About
Moya O'Donohoe is an Irish photographer based in South Tyrol, specialising in lifestyle, portraiture, events, and extreme sports photography. Equally at home in artistic and commercial environments, she brings creativity, technical precision, and an authentic approach to every project. Her passion for photography began at the age of 13 with an analogue Olympus OM-10. Entirely self-taught in the beginning, she developed a strong foundation by experimenting with film, learning exposure, composition, and the craft of image-making from the ground up. Driven to refine her skills, Moya went on to study photography at one of Ireland's most prestigious art schools, where she honed both the technical and creative aspects of the medium. Her education included traditional darkroom printing, analogue and digital workflows, and professional studio lighting, providing her with a deep appreciation for photography in all its forms. Today, Moya's work combines documentary storytelling with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Whether capturing the energy of an extreme sporting event, the personality of a portrait, or the atmosphere of a lifestyle campaign, her goal is always the same: to create honest, compelling images that connect with people. With experience across editorial, commercial, and personal projects, Moya approaches every assignment with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine passion for the craft.
